Today (Friday 27 June), the reward and benefits industry will come together to celebrate some of the best in the business at the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party.

This is always one of my favourite events of the year. Hopefully the sun will shine for us as we take the opportunity to celebrate the fantastic achievements of so many HR, reward and benefits teams. Every year, the high number of worthy entries leads to vigorous debate among our highly experienced panel of judges as they work to select just one winner. This year was no different, with our judges torn between multiple stand-out entries in a number of categories.

After covering so many of employers’ outstanding and innovative schemes and strategies throughout the year, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate some of these and seeing employers gain the recognition they deserve.

But, as ever, while celebrating employers’ successes is the reason for us all to come together, the day is also about networking, catching up with familiar faces and making new connections. Time and again, I have heard remarks about how friendly the reward and benefits industry is. This has certainly been my experience and is one of the reasons I have spent more than 20 years working in it. The people working within the industry really do make it what it is, and I’m looking forward to meeting, and catching up with, many of you tomorrow.

You can follow all the action from the day, and find out who will be taking home each prize as they are announced, on X at @EmployeeBenefit and by following #EBAwards25. Details of all the winners, along with the reasons they were selected, will be published on employeebenefits.co.uk early next week.

Good luck to all our finalists!
