Jelf Employee Benefits has launched a retirement coaching service.
The service includes coaching for employees on how to make fact-based decisions about retirement and consider financial decisions. It will also cover lifestyle planning issues, such as fitness and diet, as well as managing time and maintaining friendships in retirement.
The service is part of the organisation’s Money After Work proposition. Employers can offer tailored coaching for specific employees or send staff on one of a series of planned courses throughout the UK beginning in March 2013.
Alan Milward, corporate benefits director at Jelf Employee Benefits, said: “There is a worrying lack of support for those about to retire.
“At a time when there are many decisions to be made, employees need guidance. We help on all the key areas, and strongly encourage partners to be involved too.”
