Social media management platform Hootsuite has appointed Tara Ataya chief people and diversity officer.
Ataya will elevate the organisation's focus on employee experience as Hootsuite grows. She will also aim to formalise Hootsuite's commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.
She previously served as Hootsuite's vice president, people, and has worked in people roles at organisations including Deloitte, Sierra Systems and Vision Critical.
Ataya said: “When we consider the strength and richness that diversity brings to an organisation, we understand that evolving Hootsuite’s global employee base is not only the right thing to do but makes for better solutions that reflect our customers and communities.
"We have everything to gain on a journey to broaden diversity, ensure equity, and create a sense of belonging in the workplace.”
