Last year, water management firm Wave scooped the award due to its culture that promotes employee wellbeing, taking steps to break down the stigma of talking about physical, mental and financial health.
A Wave spokesperson said: “As a small [organisation], we haven’t got a massive pot of money and finance is a challenge, so we had to be creative and innovative and engage our employees. The health and wellbeing of our employees means such a lot. Healthy, happy people mean a happy workforce and great productivity. Our people mean an awful lot to the [organisation].”
The Employee Benefits Awards, now in its 22nd year, is the event of the year for the reward, benefits and HR industry, providing the opportunity to recognise and celebrate those driving excellence through their reward and benefits strategies.
The daytime event, which will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 14 June, includes a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with industry professionals.
