Close Brothers Motor Finance has celebrated 60 of its employees for their long service and commitment.

The organisation, which is a division of Close Brothers Group, works in partnership with more than 5,000 motor dealers to help people purchase and finance new and used cars, motorbikes and light commercial vehicles.

It held a lunch and award ceremony at the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster, the location of Close Brothers Motor Finance’s head office. A number of employees across the business were recognised, equating to more than 800 years of collective service.

Of these, 18 employees received an award for 15 years’ service, and 42 celebrated a decade with the organisation. In addition to their awards and certificates, staff who reached the 10-year milestone received an additional five days of holiday.

The organisation offers long-service awards for employees’ 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year anniversaries. These are pro-rated for part-time staff.

Seán Kemple, chief executive officer of Motor UK and Retail Finance Ireland, said: “We are nothing without our people, and our proposition has always been built around our employees. We are extremely grateful to so many employees who have dedicated years to improving business for dealers, and who have been instrumental in our growth. It’s a testament to our values, expertise and excellent organisation that many of our employees are celebrating such impressive milestones.”

Close Brothers Motor Finance offers a range of employee benefits, including the option to purchase up to five days of additional annual leave per year, pro-rated for part-time employees, 22 weeks full pay for maternity and adoption leave, 18 weeks for shared parental leave, and two weeks of fully paid leave for all forms of pregnancy loss, applicable to both partners.

It also provide up to 10 days of fully paid leave for fertility related treatment and recovery, applicable to both partners, access to emergency backup care for children or elderly relatives, life assurance and group income protection.
