Independent football charity Foundation 92 has implemented an employee benefits and wellbeing platform, to provide its workforce with access to discounts on food, drink and clothing, as well as financial and wellbeing resources.
Through a partnership with WorkLife by OpenMoney, the charity’s employees have been given access to a range of benefits, including a mortgage and homebuying service, a What Car? Affinity scheme, a give as you earn scheme, Octopus electric vehicle leasing scheme, estate planning, a digital magazine subscription, group critical illness, group life assurance, an NHS-approved mental wellbeing support app, income protection, life insurance and critical illness advice, virtual GPs, an employee assistance programme (EAP), and financial advice on money management.
Staff can also get discounts on fitness classes and equipment, home insurance, technological products, bikes and accessories, gym memberships, shops and restaurants, and cash towards everyday health costs such as opticians expenses. Other available features include a total reward statement option, as well as a recognition centre.
Tom Hutton, head of Foundation 92, said: “Our goal is to help improve the wellbeing of the communities in Greater Manchester, and we want to make sure we’re doing that for our own Salford staff and their families too. That’s why we’ve partnered with WorkLife to give our staff a tailored range of benefits they can use, and which might be helpful during particularly challenging times.”
