Financial education provider Wealth at Work has acquired the Affinity group.

Founded in 2004, Affinity (The Farleigh Group) is a Bristol-based national provider of financial education and advice, working with over 200 employers who mainly operate in the public sector for local authorities.

With this third strategic acquisition, Wealth at Work aims to increase its footprint in this sector of the financial education market.

Jonathan Watts-Lay (pictured), director at Wealth at Work, said: “We are very excited about the acquisition. We mainly provide our services to the private sector so this presents further opportunities for us to expand into the public sector, providing financial education seminars, guidance and advice, particularly for those employees who are at retirement where making the correct decisions are crucial. Our increased capacity means we can continue to respond to the fast growing demand for our services.”
