EXCLUSIVE: Catriona Clark, reward programme manager at NHS Employers, will discuss how businesses can commit to financial wellbeing support for their employees at Employee Benefits Reset 2020.
The strategy session titled ‘Supporting staff with financial wellbeing' will take place at 10am on Tuesday 13 October in the first ever Employee Benefits online series of keynotes, how-to and strategy sessions, which will run from 5 – 16 October.
During her session, Clark will discuss creating a financial wellbeing strategy for a workforce, and the key things to consider when starting from scratch, looking back on her experience in implementing financial wellbeing support for staff at NHS Employers.
She will also explain how important it is for employers not to introduce a one-size-fits-all approach, as well as discussing the biggest reward and wellbeing challenges that she and the business have experienced while working in the healthcare industry throughout the Covid-19 Coronavirus) pandemic.
Clark said: “The session will focus on the broader impact of Covid-19 on the workforce, and why NHS organisations seek to support their staff with financial wellbeing, helping them to increase recruitment and retention within the business.
“It is important to take a strategic approach to financial wellbeing, using a well-planned and targeted approach. Employers can benefit from really asking staff how they are feeling and how the package is impacted them. From there onwards, employers can adjust the package to match employees' needs."
Attendees can register to attend all keynotes and sessions for free.
