DuPont hires new chief HR officer

Multinational chemical manufacturing giant DuPont has hired Christopher Raia as its new senior vice president and chief human resources (HR) officer.

Raia was already working at the business as its interim HR chief, and with his formal appointment he will now be charged with looking after all aspects of the HR function.

Formerly DuPont’s vice president for organisational effectiveness, Raia brings more than 25 years’ experience to his new role. He was previously senior vice president of talent management and organisational effectiveness at Citizens, and was also formerly managing principal at Provation LLP.

Commenting on the appointment, Ed Breen, DuPont’s executive chairman and chief executive, said: “Chris has been instrumental in helping us build an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing culture at DuPont. His deep expertise and proven track record in applying innovative HR solutions will be critical to advance our innovation, portfolio and diversity and inclusion strategies."
