London-based estate agents Dexters has launched a bikes-for-work scheme for its 2,000 employees.

Through the scheme, which is provided by micromobility platform Forest, Dexters’ employees will be able to take out a monthly e-bike subscription for £29. This works out as approximately £1 per day if they cycle for at least 60 minutes.

The employee pays for the subscription via their salary, with a tax saving of up to 47%. They can access the scheme through Dexters’ existing benefits platform.

Andy Shepherd, chief executive officer at Dexters, said: “Dexters is delighted to be partnering with Forest to offer our colleagues the opportunity to be part of [its] e-bike bikes-for-work scheme. Dexters has more than 170 offices across London and with over 2,000 colleagues we are sure our local teams will love this cost-effective, healthy and environmentally friendly way to travel to work.”

Dexters also offers its employees childcare vouchers, maternity and paternity leave, a performance-related bonus, a pension scheme, bereavement leave, learning and development opportunities, 25 days of annual leave that rises by three days after three years of service, their birthday off, a paid volunteering day, and gym and health club discounts.
