Clifford Chance has introduced a salary sacrifice car scheme for its UK employees.
The scheme, Salary Exchange which is provided by Zenith, operates on a cost-neutral basis for the law firm because the employee sacrifices part of their gross salary in return for a car, saving income tax and national insurance.
The scheme encourages low carbon dioxide (CO2) car choices and has an overall limit of 160kg/km CO2 emissions.
The scheme includes new car supply and management, †comprehensive insurance, road tax, accident management, breakdown assistance, car administration, servicing and maintenance.
Andy Darlison, head of reward and benefits at Clifford Chance, said: “We wanted to add a car benefit to our employee rewards offering, as it is regarded as a valuable addition to our current proposition.”
