Cisco has moved benefits online for its 2,500 staff in the UK and Ireland to help them understand the full value of their reward package and what they are entitled to.
It has also replaced its stakeholder pension scheme with a group self-invested personal pension (Sipp). Employees can transfer between the schemes using the new online platform.
The new scheme, branded i-Benefit@Cisco, also includes core perks such as life assurance, group income protection and holiday, plus additional voluntary benefits.
The communications and technology firm has also introduced tax-efficient benefits via salary sacrifice. Its national insurance savings have been used to provide health assessments for staff.
The new scheme, provided by Thomsons Online Benefits, also enables staff to view total reward statements and select perks online. Charlie Johnston, Cisco's HR director for the UK and Ireland, said: "Our reward strategy is driven by our desire to make Cisco a brilliant place to work and help people understand the full breadth of their package. We wanted to drive innovation into the delivery of benefits and feel we have achieved this."
