Something for the weekend: A cat cafe in Bangkok, Thailand is reopening its restaurant after closing due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
The reopening of Caturday gives the resident cats a purr-fect opportunity to enjoy the perks of the job once again; great food, company and belly rubs; all benefits they have been missing out on since lockdown was put in place on 22 March 2020.
Despite the cafe's attempts to claw back its way to normality, there are still many Coronavirus-specific lockdown restrictions that the business must abide by. There will be a limited number of people per table and if customers come as a big group, they must sit separately.
A spokesperson at Cat Cafe said: "Under these critical circumstances, prevention and protection measures against Coronavirus are our first priority. We understand that this is a difficult time for all of us, so let’s take a little break from all the stress, come play with our furry friends and have a great time."
Here at Employee Benefits, we hope that the opening of this cafe will encourage people to get back to feline good again and staying pawsitive.
