Capita Hartshead director Clive Wickenden and Dave Morris, engagement director for Service Birmingham, (Birmingham City Council's joint venture with Capita Business Services) plan to climb the Alps for charity.
The two men are planning a three-day trek aiming to raise at least £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Wickenden, director of client services, and Morris will be walking for between seven and 10 hours a day, with daily ascents over 1,000 metres.
They will ascend four different Alpine peaks that are all over 2,200 metres at their summit.
Wickenden, who successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this year, said: “I feel it would be a shame not to make use of all the gear I invested in for the Mount Kilimanjaro climb and Macmillan Cancer Support is such a worthwhile cause, so Alps, here I come.”
