Busy Bees Group has acquired Leapfrog Day Nurseries and Leapfrog Childcare Vouchers.
Busy Bees, part of Australian nursery provider group ABC Learning Centres, bought the 88 Leapfrog sites from Nord Anglia Education.
In a letter published on the Busy Bees' website, John Woodward, Busy Bees group managing director, said: "We have invested more than £1m in a new administrative system to improve our service to parents, employers and carers. We expect the new system to be fully operational by the end of the year."
He added that Busy Bees Childcare Voucher customers will see an extended opportunity for discounts on nursery fees for voucher users throughout the enlarged group. More details about this are due over the next couple of months.
