Law firm Foot Anstey has introduced an inclusive parental leave policy and mortgage support benefit for its employees.

It will provide six months of full pay to all employees regardless of gender. Its enhanced financial support for all employees is part of the firm’s family forming package, designed to support hopeful and expecting families and parents.

It sits alongside other benefits such as reproductive healthcare support provided by Fertifa, enhanced neonatal support and pay during pregnancy, and a parental returners hub and back-up care offering supplied by Bright Horizons.

Foot Anstey has also launched a mortgage support benefit to provide one-to-one access to independent mortgage advisers.

These new and enhanced policies are intended to place the firm in a strong position to attract and retain talented individuals.

Kerri O’Driscoll, head of reward and people delivery at Foot Anstey, said: “Giving our people time and financial security to support their families through early development stages is a vital step towards achieving greater equality in caregiving responsibilities. We know that supporting our people through different life stages allows them to achieve their full potential.”

Felix Hebblethwaite, chief people officer at Foot Anstey, added: “Offering all our people six months of fully paid parental leave reflects our steadfast belief that hard work should be matched by industry leading benefits. This announcement is just one development in the firm’s long history of backing our people. 2025 has been an exciting year for the firm’s growth, which has gone hand in hand with levelling up the support we provide for our workforce.”

As part of its growth agenda and responsible business commitment, Foot Anstey has committed at least 1% of its net profit to responsible business causes. Earlier this year, it announced a partnership with Young Enterprise, a charity that equips young people from a variety of backgrounds with skills, knowledge and confidence for the working world and beyond.
