BHSF employees have walked the equivalent distance to Buenos Aires and back without leaving the country.
Teams from the employee health benefits provider walked a total of 14,600 miles as part of the Global Corporate Challenge to help cut child obesity.
Equipped with pedometers, three teams of 21 BHSF employees took part in the 16-week challenge. One team finished 600th out of 14,000 teams worldwide with an average daily step count of 17,676.
For every entrant an organisation enrolls in the challenge, a youngster is recruited to the Global Children’s Challenge in an effort to cut child obesity.
Peter Maskell, chief executive at BHSF, said: “It was great fun and a rewarding corporate challenge that included team building and getting fit.”
