Last year, Lindsay and Gilmour Pharmacy won the Best Benefits Communications award. The judges were impressed by its demonstration of a solid strategy, showing flexibility and awareness of environmental factors due to Covid-19 (Coronavirus). They said that the entry showed the importance placed by the employer on the wellbeing of its employees, and that its use of multiple communication channels was “outstanding, with impressive engagement results.”
After scooping the prize, Philip Galt, managing director and superintendent pharmacist at Lindsay and Gilmour, said: “The honour recognises our effective and innovative approach to benefits communications, using recognition and reward to double our employee engagement.”
This year’s winners will be announced at the ceremony and summer party, which will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 24 June. Guests can look forward to a champagne reception, three-course lunch, a celebrity host and an unmissable after-party that will include live music, dodgems, a carousel and big wheel in the venue’s private grounds.
The Employee Benefits Awards, which returned to an in-person event last year following the Covid-19 pandemic, is the event of the year for the reward, benefits and HR community. It enables HR professionals to celebrate best practice in the field with their peers and colleagues, as well as networking with industry leaders and experts, rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the market.
