Aurum Holdings, whose brands includes Goldsmiths, Mappin and Webb and Watches of Switzerland, launched a staff incentive scheme in the run up to Christmas to drive sales in stores.
The incentive programme, designed to engage retail staff, ran from mid August to the end of last year. For each piece of diamond jewellery sold, employees were awarded points which could be entered into a prize draw. The more points they gained, the more chances they had to win the top prize.
The overall winner, who was selected at random from 42,000 entries, was given a Fiat 500. Other prizes included
travel vouchers, I-Pads and hampers.
Justin Stead, chief executive officer of Aurum Holdings, said: “The team is our most important asset and therefore we are passionate about maintaining a great working environment, living by our values and encouraging our teams to learn and grow with us."
