Admiral and Cisco named Best Workplaces for Women 2023

Best Workplaces Women AdmiralInsurance firm Admiral, housing provider Home Group and digital communications business Cisco have been named on Great Place to Work UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2023 list.

The list, which is produced by the UK branch of Great Place to Work, analysed the responses of nearly 80,000 UK-based female employees to its Trust Index employee survey to determine which employers are going above and beyond to ensure fair treatment in terms of pay and benefits, workload stress, and development and promotion opportunities.

Admiral was ranked highly due to its initiatives and programmes for female staff, including its Get Discovered Programme which empowers women to put themselves forward for future leadership opportunities and its Admiral 5-9 Club in collaboration with WelshICE, designed for budding female entrepreneurs to learn about running successful businesses.

The top five super large businesses (1,000 and above employees) are:

The top five large businesses (201-1,000 employees) are:

  1. Elements Talent Consultancy
  2. Xero
  3. The Trade Desk
  4. Klaviyo
  5. Biogen

The top five medium-sized businesses (51-201 employees) are:

  1. Sellic Partnership
  2. Tomorrow
  3. Silver Cloud HR
  4. Uptake Strategies
  5. Touch Medical Media

The top five small businesses (20-51 employees) are:

  1. ID Comms
  2. Happy
  3. Aspire Scientific
  4. ResourceIT
  5. Propellernet
