The brewing organisation, which employs more than 40,000 people globally, has rolled out the scheme following its benefits review in 2014.

It carried out the review in order to simplify its benefits administration and to boost take up across its package.

The launch includes a new branded online benefits portal and a number of benefits such as holiday trading, give as you earn, childcare vouchers, bikes for work and private medical insurance. The scheme is provided by My Staff Shop.

In February, Carlsberg UK also relaunched its voluntary benefits scheme, provided by Gee7.

With the relaunch of both schemes, the organisation is focused on generating staff awareness, engagement and take up.

Nick Court, compensation and benefits manager at Carlsberg UK, said: “It has so far gone really well and is a really slick process.

“It now makes a joined-up strategy with our voluntary benefits scheme, which has had the largest uptake since the relaunch.

“Through flex, we are now reaching more people and getting employees that have never logged onto the system before logging on.”
