Zurich has launched the latest edition of its annual tax handbook for financial advisers and their clients, in conjunction with Pearson Education.
The updated guide provides a single source of reference for all aspects of tax planning. In addition, this year's guide highlights some of the potential tax consequences arising from the credit crunch and recession.
It also provides information on many aspects of tax planning including trusts, capital gains tax and VAT.
Readers can also access the latest revisions online and receive email notification of updates that occur throughout the year in order to stay informed of any key changes that occur between Budgets.
Paul Wright, investment management director at Zurich UK Life, said: “The recession has had a huge effect on everyone and this guide gives advice on how advisers can help their clients to make potential tax savings. Taxation is a complex area and one which people often fail to address in sufficient detail."
