Weird Fish gives employees the chance to chase modelling careers

Something for the weekend: Clothing brand Weird Fish has given employees the opportunity to excel in their modelling careers by advertising its new range of activewear.

With all of the Weird Fish workforce working from home, the organisation thought this would be a fun way to increase employee engagement, encourage activity and get staff involved in the business in a new and inventive way.

Employees who are interested in adding this new skill to their CV are being sent a selection of garments to wear, photograph and actively promote online.

The wannabe models are then putting the Active Life yoga, cycling and hiking collection to the test while carrying out activities such as yoga, walking, garden games and handstands.

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, added: “We want to continue building an authentic look and feel for our products, so have used our Active Life collection as an opportunity to do something a bit different – showcasing our clothing in the ‘real world’ and an everyday setting.

“Our ethos centres around offering relaxed, easy-going and feel-good clothing that gives a ‘forever weekend’ feeling. Our staff are already an active bunch, so we felt they were perfectly placed to try out this new range from the comfort of their own homes. After all, we want to show our customers that we love the brand as much as they do.”

Here at Employee Benefits: We're certain that these young and creative models will have a bright future ahead of them in the modelling industry.
