The University of Chester has transferred its childcare voucher scheme from Computershare to Apple Childcare Vouchers.

The university’s 1,500 employees will have access to the new scheme this month and Apple will be looking to increase the take-up levels through marketing campaigns and onsite visits.

The transfer came about to improve the level of service and reduce costs.

Karen Cregan, assistant director human resource management services at the university, said: “The University of Chester is committed to providing family-friendly options for its staff and this represents the latest in a package of benefits which are available.”

Marcus Barrow, managing director at Apple Childcare Vouchers, added: “The vniversity adds to Apple’s growing client portfolio and to the number of organisations that have transferred to Apple.”
