US-based information technology organisations Ultimate Software, Salesforce and Workday are among the employers that have been recognised in the Best workplaces for millennials 2018 list, compiled by Great Place to Work USA.
The list results from 398,000 survey respondents working at Great Place to Work-certified organisations in the US. This included analysing how millennials rated their organisation across 50 different metrics, such as managers' competence, respect and fairness in the workplace, opportunities for meaningful work, how effectively executives lead the organisation, and whether organisations give everyone an opportunity to innovate and contribute to business success.
Millennials’ survey results were also compared to those of other generations within the workplace, looking across factors such as meaningful work, fair pay and plans to remain at the organisation. Great Place to Work further analysed demographic patterns to ensure that organisations were creating suitable workplaces for millennials.
Organisations needed to employ at least 50 millennials to participate and be featured on the list.
Other organisations that ranked on the final top 100 list include financial services organisation Capital One, hospitality business Hilton Worldwide, transportation organisation FedEx Corporation and construction firm David Weekley Homes.
