Employees in the UK are less engaged with their employer than most of their European peers. Watson Wyatt's World at Work 2005 survey found that just 12% of UK employees said that they were fully engaged at work. This compares with 36% of Swiss, 24% of Irish, 18% of German and 9% of Italian employees.
