Aviation and aerospace regulator UK Civil Aviation Authority has appointed Lucy Robbins director of people and culture.
When she takes up the role on 29 April, Robbins will be a member of the senior executive team and lead the organisation's delivery of its people and culture strategy.
Having previously spent 10 years at the Competition and Markets Authority and other regulators, Robbins understands the regulatory environment in which the UK Civil Aviation Authority works. She said: “I’m excited to take up the role of director of people and culture. I look forward to working with a well-regarded regulator to help deliver the best possible experience and culture for colleagues.”
Rob Bishton, chief executive of the UK Civil Aviation Authority, said: “I am delighted that Lucy is joining us, as she brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned HR professional and will add a fresh perspective for us. I’d also like to pass my thanks to Alison Naylor who has successfully led the people team on an interim basis for the last year and has prepared the team well for Lucy’s arrival.”
