Occupational health organisation Sun Rehabilitation is to acquire office erognomic business Workspace Health.
Workspace Health is a specialist display screen equipment (DSE) and office ergonomics organisation that helps businesses with DSE compliance and the creation of active working strategies, which are designed to improve the overall wellbeing and health of employees.
Following the acquisition, Workspace Health will operate as a division of Sun Rehabilitation, a specialist musculoskeletal occupational health service provider that focuses on physiotherapy treatments.
Stuart Nottingham, director at Sun Rehabilitation, said: "I am excited about this acquisition, as I believe we can change the process and purchase decisions for ergonomic equipment in the work place.
"Unlike the traditional model of DSE ergonomic provision in the UK, Workspace Health will only use occupational health chartered physiotherapists to deliver the assessments, rather than a member of the [organisation's] sales team to advise [employers] of the requirements."
