Admiral Group has announced that it will award more than 13,000 employees free share awards worth up to £1,800 due to record profit performance.

Within its full-year 2025 results, the car insurance and loan group reported a 16% increase in pre-tax profit to £957.9 million. In addition, Admiral Money saw a 24% rise in its gross loan balances to £1.46 billion, while contributing £26 million to overall group profit. This was double the amount achieved in 2024.

This has enabled it to award its employees with the free share awards as part of its staff profit share scheme. The amount is the highest it can award under the scheme.

Milena Mondini de Focatiis, group chief executive officer at Admiral Group, said: “2025 was an exceptional year for Admiral, reflecting the strength of our business model, our discipline and the quality of execution across the group. We reported record profits, continued to grow our customer base and diversify our business, while maintaining momentum in how we invest and innovate.

“Our strong financial position provides flexibility to continue investing in the business and support future shareholder returns. Admiral enters the next phase of its strategy in a position of strength. Our culture, people and disciplined approach remain central to everything that we do and I would like to thank our employees across the group for their continued commitment to our customers and to each other.”

Admiral Group also offers its employees a bikes-for-work scheme, financial and mortgage advice, 24-hour e-care, flexible working, private health insurance, critical illness cover, a give-as-you-earn scheme, a vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, group life assurance, a staff and family insurance discount, a pension scheme, and access to health support through Simply Health.
