Scottish Life has launched its auto-enrolment product, which is based around three core phases: the design, the implementation and the ongoing running of an auto-enrolment-compliant pension scheme.

The design element includes the assessment and modeling of options for pension scheme design; the implement element includes project planning and support with implementation; and the run phase includes ongoing services, such as covering compliance, communications, record keeping and governance.

Jamie Clark, business development manager at Scottish Life, said: “The single most important message about automatic enrolment is that it’s not just about pensions; it’s about business planning.

“With help from advisers and employers, Scottish Life has developed [a product] that enables advisers to identify the most appropriate approach to auto-enrolment for each individual [employer]; it offers experienced planning and implementation support; and it delivers a package of ongoing services.”
