Employees at pension administrator RPMI have raised £828.55 by completing Cancer Research UK's Race for Life.
The fundraising event, which was held in Darlington on 10 June, saw almost 3,000 women of all ages running, jogging and walking to raise money for the cancer charity.
This is the second year employees at RPMI have taken part. They organised a warm-up event at their office days before the run to get as many staff involved as possible.
Steve Hornby, head of HR at RPMI, said: “It is great to see many of our staff getting involved in this event for a great cause.
“With an outstanding pre-race warm-up and some moving words from those involved, it is safe to say the day was an emotional, yet successful one. The ladies did themselves and Cancer Research proud.”
