Rostrum introduces health and wellbeing scheme for staff

Rostrum introduces enhanced health and wellbeing benefits

PR and content marketing agency Rostrum has introduced a health and wellbeing benefits plan for its 28 employees.

The new scheme, which is provided by Health Shield, offers Rostrum employees access to 24-hour counselling support and an online GP service, as well as discounts on fitness and wellbeing initiatives, including gym memberships. Employees will also have access to wellbeing coaching and a health cash plan that will reimburse healthcare costs for them and their dependants, on services including dental, optical, physiotherapy and health consultations.

The new benefits are part of an adjustment to the agency’s reward strategy after recognising that the pandemic has made some of its key benefits irrelevant, such as annual train tickets, regular team events, and a bikes-for-work scheme.

In addition to the new health and wellbeing benefits, Rostrum has introduced Health Shield’s voluntary benefit programme which offers employees discounts and cash-back deals on travel, cinema tickets, supermarkets, and health products.

Michael Kahn, director, resources and development at Rostrum, said: “Rostrum is investing in Health Shield as an innovative and compelling offering for physical and mental wellbeing for our whole team. The pandemic has made it harder for us to assess, manage and improve the overall health for employees. We are confident that this new strategy will lead to better results for us as an organisation in terms of employee health and wellbeing.”
