Delegates attending Employee Benefits Connect 2018 will be able to a unique insight into the surprising similarities between cars and pensions as Ford Motor Company joins the event's roster of industry-leading speakers.

Oliver Payne, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) pensions manager and actuary at Ford Motor Company will present a session titled ‘If Tesla did pensions’ as part of the technology conference stream at the event on Wednesday 28 February 2018 at Park Plaza, Westminster.

The session will discuss the similarities between cars and pensions and explore how recent disruption in the car industry could be mirrored in the pensions landscape. Payne will also analyse what potential disruption in the pensions industry could look like, and speak about why this could be good for pension scheme members.

At the event, delegates will also be able to learn from Elizabeth Kolmstetter, director, workforce engagement division at NASA, who will deliver the opening keynote address titled ‘Building the future workforce at NASA’. The session will highlight how NASA has created a workplace environment that encourages innovation, how NASA’s agile working initiative has helped connect it distributed workforce, and how older generations of employees leave a legacy for younger employees.
