Newcastle-upon-Tyne NHS Trust has switched childcare voucher provider after reviewing the service and costs incurred through its previous supplier.
The trust is moving to Fideliti from Computershare Voucher Services for a first salary deduction in June. David Malone, green transport and staff benefits adviser for the trust, said: "This is an opportunity to refresh the scheme in terms of raising awareness."
The contract has been issued on a rolling basis and will go out to full tender again later this year.
"We saw an opportunity to save money quickly," said Malone. "We need to stick with the NHS procurement guidelines and have agreed to go with Fideliti short-term as an immediate way to save money and change providers."
