Employee engagement and cost were the focus for finalists of the Employee Benefits Awards 2015, who demonstrated the value they had obtained from all of the benefits provided to their employees, according to Neil McCawley, head of reward and benefits at Wolseley UK, in an interview with Clare Bettelley, associate editor at Employee Benefits.
He added that one initiative that particularly stood out was the addition of health screening into a flexible benefits package.
“There was a number of different things I would take back to [Wolseley, but] health screening for me stood out,” he said. “The other area which was innovative was around technology and where employees might pay for subscriptions through flex; something exciting to attract younger employees.”
The 2015 Employee Benefits Award winners will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 12 June.
