EXCLUSIVE: The University College Cork has launched an online discounts scheme for its 3,000 employees.
Its Extra For Me website, which has been branded for the university by provider Jordan Media Ireland, includes access to discounts from retailers such as Argos, Boots, Currys, Love2Shop, New Look, Marks and Spencer and Milano.
Employees can log into the website using a unique user identification, choose a retail voucher and the savings are applied immediately at the checkout.
The gift cards and vouchers are delivered to the employee’s home address within 48 hours.
Michelle O’Rourke, head of business development at Jordan Media Ireland, said: “From our research, we’ve established that employers want to provide benefit schemes for their employees, but very often find them cost prohibitive.
“With Extra For Me, employers can give their staff access to a range of savings (up to 7.5%) on gift vouchers and gift cards from leading retailers.”
