EXCLUSIVE: Web development organisation Visualsoft has given its 200 members of staff a token of thanks to mark Employee Appreciation Day today (4 March).
The organisation treated each of its employees to a cupcake to celebrate the occasion. It conducted an early morning desk drop so that staff would receive the treat as soon as they arrived at work.
Each cupcake was accompanied by a branded card that read: “Thank you for your hard work and dedication.”
Emma Hart, HR manager at Visualsoft, said: “As it's Employee Appreciation Day across the UK, we decided to mark the occasion by treating our employees to a cupcake this morning, as a small token of our appreciation.
“We understand that it's not always the competitive salary or extensive list of benefits that motivates employees, sometimes it's the small things like a simple thank you to show employees they are valued and their hard work and dedication is recognised and appreciated.
“After all, employees are our most important asset and today's token of appreciation has been well received; let's face it, who doesn't like cupcakes?”
