Call and live chat services firm Moneypenny has appointed Charlotte Ashdown as people director as of this month.
Ashdown previously spent 13 years at Iceland Foods Headquarters, where she was head of HR. According to Moneypenny, she is an expert in people and development, and has experience and a passion for organisations that put employees at the heart of their business.
Her role will involve heading up the people team, which looks after all elements of working life and recruitment at Moneypenny, while the business aims to further accelerate its UK and US growth and drive its expansion plans.
Joanna Swash, group CEO at Moneypenny, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to our fast-growing team and are excited about the fantastic experience she will bring to Moneypenny. Charlotte’s background and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to recruit and grow and position the business for further growth both in the UK and US.”
Ashdown added: “I am thrilled to be joining Moneypenny at such an exciting time in the business and am passionate about people and helping them flourish with the right support and training. Moneypenny is well known for its award winning culture and for how it nurtures its people, and I could feel and sense the inclusive and happy atmosphere as soon as I entered the stunning offices. I am really looking forward to working across the business.”
