Mitie, an outsourcing and energy services firm, held its annual ‘Mitie’s got talent’ competition, which was attended by 400 employees.

The event was held to celebrate the organisation’s 25-year anniversary and is part of the firm’s wider strategy to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for its staff.

John Telling, head of corporate affairs at Mitie, said: “Events such as ‘Mitie’s got talent’ enable us to showcase the huge diversity and talent among our employees across the multiple sectors of the business.

David Melnick, 25, working in the organisation’s client services business was named winner on the night after a piano and vocal performance. He received £500 prize money.
