Stress in numbers

48% cite stress and mental ill-health as a main cause of employee absence (Group Risk Development: Group risk employer research, November 2014)

56% find work very or fairly stressful (Mind, November 2014)

30% said they would not be able to talk openly with their line manager if they were stressed (Mind, November 2014)

21% would take time off if suffering from stress-related illnesses (Canada Life Group Insurance, October 2014)
