John Machin has joined media organisation Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) as head of reward.
During the course of his career, Machin has undertaken global performance-based salary and bonus review processes, the implementation and design of annual and long-term incentive plans, total reward statements, job evaluation and grading and the introduction and re-design of pension and benefits plans.
He specialises in remuneration committee work, global performance-based salary and bonus review processes, pay benchmarking at all organisational levels, and designing and implementing annual bonus plans, long-term incentive plans and international pensions, and benefits plans in both private and public organisations.
Previously, Machin worked as group head of reward at Tullow Oil, head of reward and engagement at William Hill, global head of compensation and benefits at Misys and global compensation and benefits director at Christie’s.
