HyderConsulting-Employees-2014

Hyder Consulting has launched online total reward statements for its 1,000 employees.

The statements will be made available via the multinational design and engineering consultancy’s benefits portal HyFlex, which will give employees a summary of what the organisation provides staff.

The launch of total reward statements aims to raise awareness and engagement of the benefits available to staff, which include:

  • Employer matching pension contributions
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Access to Best Doctors
  • Bikes-to-work scheme
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance

Hyder worked with provider Edenred to develop the site, which the organisation plans to extend to include flexible benefits in 2015

As part of its communication, emails were sent to employees along with a link to the portal, posters were put up at office locations and it will provide desk drops to employees outlining all of the benefits on offer and information on the portal.

Chantelle Ludski, regional HR and change management director at Hyder Consulting, said: “Our aim with the HyFlex portal is to bring together information about salary and benefits all in one place to make it easier for our employees to understand their total remuneration package.

“One of our aims was to ensure people were making the most of the benefits that are currently available. The portal provides much greater visibility about what exactly is at their fingertips.

“We believe that introducing a formal employee benefits programme for our staff is one way we can demonstrate how much we value their contribution to the success of our business. The feedback so far has been very positive.”
