Something for the weekend: London-based luxury goods marketplace Hush Hush is hiring for a luxury product tester to review opulent items such as a £47 million superyacht.
Applicants with an eye for the finer things in life will love the gold-plated opportunities this unique job offers. Not only will the chosen candidate be able to sample and review jaw-dropping items like a jewel-encrusted watch worth £55 million, a French chateau valued at £62 million, or a superyacht with a £47 million price tag, but they will also earn their own tidy sum of £75,000 a year.
The position requires extensive travel, so interested job seekers need to be prepared to don their passports at the drop of a designer hat in order to test out private islands or regal properties around the world.
But what does the role actually involve? The new luxury product tester will be tasked with reviewing high-end items before they go on sale to the general public. This will involve testing for style, comfort, performance and sustainability before writing a full report on each product.

Hush Hush is looking for applicants who are over 18 years old, have a passion for travel, art and fashion, and who have decent writing capabilities. Candidates must also be discreet, sociable and eloquent as they will act as the main point of contact for Hush Hush’s suppliers too.
Here at Employee Benefits, we would love to use our well-honed writing skills to bag us a spot on the superyacht’s next outing or for an indulgent stay at the French chateau. However, we cannot promise we would hit deadline if we were offered the chance to visit a private island…
