Home Group has launched a peer recognition scheme to enable its 4,000 employees to show their appreciation of colleagues.
After reviewing its benefits offering, the supported and affordable housing organisation identified that staff wanted some form of recognition scheme.
The scheme, launched last month, allows employees to nominate a colleague for an award. From the nominations, up to 25 people receive points to the value of £20, which they can use to buy something via provider Asperity Employee Benefits’ website, or save for future use.
Lynne Griffin, head of HR at Home Group, said: “We asked our business leaders to take ownership of the programme and encourage colleagues to use it."
