Solihull-based servicing technology provider Phoebus Software has introduced wellbeing measures to support its employees as part of its people-first culture.

Alongside the launch of an employee assistance programme, which gives staff and their families access to 24/7 confidential mental health and wellbeing support, the firm has implemented a work-from-anywhere policy. This allows employees to work from other locations for several weeks each year and sits alongside its current hybrid-working model, where staff attend the office one day per week.

It has also launched a volunteering policy to encourage employees to give back to causes they care about during working hours. This supports its existing partnerships with charities Helping Hands and the Family Care Trust.

Phoebus Software has additionally hosted a series of health and wellbeing webinars covering physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing and will continue to invest in staff wellbeing, growth and inclusion. This will be through a new wellbeing kiosk that proactively tracks key health metrics and gives staff personalised advice to support healthier habits.

It will also introduce a positive impact ambassadors team to champion its environmental, social and governance strategy, raise awareness, take actions and recommend improvements.

Kate Langton, chief people officer at Phoebus Software, said: “It means listening to employees through surveys, testing new wellbeing initiatives, and iterating based on real feedback. This continuous improvement loop has led to greater engagement, lower attrition and enhanced internal mobility. At Phoebus, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and their wellbeing and development are paramount to our success. We have an unwavering focus on building a workplace where people feel supported, included, and empowered to succeed both for today and into the future.”

Richard Pike, chief sales and marketing officer at Phoebus Software, added: “The initiatives are not only building a positive culture, but also a competitive advantage. The more I speak with our clients and prospects, the more it comes across that being ethical and committed to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing is a huge part of their decision-making process.
