London office provider Argyll has launched comprehensive cancer support for its 200 members of staff as a new employee benefit.
Through a partnership with specialist cancer support services provider Reframe Cancer, Argyll’s employees will be able to access a variety of services that meet the individual needs of cancer patients and their loved ones.
These include dedicated cancer nurse specialists to provide information, guidance, and emotional support throughout the cancer journey, and a cancer support manager to help chase appointments, assist with transportation to appointments or return to work planning. Staff will also have access to a range of online informative materials and resources on cancer awareness and preventative measures.
The partnership recognises the significant impact a cancer diagnosis can have on individuals and their families, and is part of Argyll’s aim to support its employees during challenging times.
It also highlights a growing commitment by the employer to benefits and wellbeing and specifically tackling the growing concern of cancer among working age people, and its impact on employees and the workplace.
Emily Smith, chief operating officer at Argyll, said: “We’re proud to be partnering with Reframe Cancer to offer our team members personalised advice and support through some of the most challenging times. We recognise the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on an individual and their families and want to make sure we’re doing what we can to ensure they feel supported.”
Kate Randall, commercial and marketing director at Reframe Cancer, added: “Argyll’s commitment to a supportive work environment and forward-thinking cancer support initiatives will enable its team members to benefit from Reframe Cancer’s experienced team of cancer nurse specialists and support managers, ensuring they receive the necessary care and guidance when they need it most.”
