employee benefits awards 2021

The entry deadline for the Employee Benefits Awards 2022, in association with Aon, has been extended to Friday 14 January 2022.

Now in its 20th year, the Employee Benefits Awards is considered the event of the year for the reward, benefits and HR community. It is designed to recognise excellence and celebrate the organisations, teams and individuals who have made a significant difference through their reward and benefits strategies.

The 22 available categories span a variety of employee benefits aspects, including financial wellbeing, pensions, healthcare, employee engagement and mental health.

2022’s award categories include Best Benefits to Support Work-Life Balance, Best use of Benefits to Support Diversity, Inclusion and the Employee Experience, and Best Flexible Benefits Plan.

Two new awards have been introduced for next year, which are Best Benefits to support Menopause, Fertility or Pregnancy, and Best New Benefit to Support Employees Post-Pandemic.

If you would like to make a nomination for Benefits Professional of the Year, you can now do so via the the Employee Benefits Awards 2022 website. To be eligible for this accolade, an individual must be a practicing in-house reward, benefits or HR professional who has not won this award in the past three years.

The 2021 winners list includes the University of Lincoln, which took the Grand Prix and HR or Benefits Team of the Year awards, as well as Wood Group UK, with its reward manager Rachel Murray scooping the coveted Employee Benefits Professional of the Year award for her unfailing attitude as an inspiration to her colleagues and wider HR community.

The winners for 2022 will be announced at the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party, which will be held in June. This must-attend event will give entrants and industry professionals the opportunity to network and celebrate best practice and innovation in an iconic location.
