Health Shield has extended its voluntary corporate cash plan with the creation of a new entry level.
Employees can now choose from six levels of cover, including the new ‘Access Level’, priced from £1.25 per week.
The introduction of the new level follows a scheme review of all product offerings by Health Shield.
As part of the review, cognitive behavioural therapy will also be included in cash plans, and Health Shield will cover the excess payment that is not covered by private medical insurance (PMI) through its specialist consultation fees benefit.
Philip Wood, executive director of sales and marketing at Health Shield, said: “The introduction of a new entry level within the voluntary corporate scheme will hopefully generate an increase in the number of people wishing to take advantage of the everyday healthcare benefits that membership has to offer.
“In the current economic climate, we felt it was extremely important to continue to provide membership plans that are simple, flexible and affordable to all – plans that help to meet every employee’s needs and budget.”
