People success platform provider Lattice has announced that Cara Brennan Allamano has joined as its first chief people officer.

Brennan Allamano has more than 20 years of human resources and leadership experience, with a focus on scaling HR operations, learning and development at global businesses. She will lead Lattice’s global people team, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, HR business partners, total rewards, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Most recently, Brennan Allamano was the senior vice president at Udemy, which she led through global growth and its recent initial public offering. In addition to founding PeopleTech Partners and StartupHR, she has held human resources leadership positions at Planet, Pinterest, and Adobe.

Lattice co-founder and chief executive officer Jack Altman said: “[Brennan Allamano] has a long history of building people-first cultures, and we are really lucky to have her joining the team at Lattice to help us build the type of business our products promise to help our customers build. In addition to using her expertise as we continue to scale our team, we are thrilled to tap her for deeper insights into the HR tech landscape as we continue to expand Lattice’s products and features through the employee lifecycle.”

Brennan Allamano added: “Lattice’s people-first approach has created the foundation for a world-class business culture. After seeing the impact the product has on unlocking key understanding to enable people managers and HR leaders to more effectively build and strengthen employee success within the organisation, I’m excited to join the team at this pivotal stage as we define what the future of work will be.”

“Today the perception of people management within organisations is shifting from a purely operational function to a strategic partner. Lattice’s growth during this time has been a testament to their understanding of the roles of both employee success and culture within successful organisations and I’m thrilled to be part of the next chapter,” she concluded.
