Employee engagement and motivation linked to productivity have taken on a new importance over the past three years. This is according to the results of the Employee Benefits/JPMorgan Invest Benefits research 2007, published in the Benefits Book 2007.

Benefits are now thought to impact on these areas to some extent by 62% of employers.

However, improving the perceived value of the benefits package remains a key concern for 73% of respondents, while just under two-thirds (65%) wish to make perks more cost effective.
